Operational objectives for 2011

Each year, Coor sets group-wide targets in four main segments; financial, customer/market, service delivery and human resources. These targets are measured yearly and special action-plans are prepared for any segments making poor progress. Some of these targets are permanent, while others are adapted to the group’s current challenges. Permanent operational goals include cash flow, earnings, sales, employee satisfaction and customersatisfaction. The special focus goals set for 2011 relate to segments including the working environment, number of improvement proposals (per employee) executed, environmental audits conducted and the implementation of strategic development plans.

Operational targets are broken down and addressed by country, contract, site and workgroup. In this way, there is a clear connection between the work of the individual and the group’s over-arching goal, with the whole business working in the same direction.
