Wind in the sails
Coor is sponsoring Ericsson Racing Team (ERT) which will take part in the Volvo Ocean Race. The race, which covers five oceans and 39,000 nautical miles, runs from October 2008 to June 2009.
Preparations are in full swing, with the crews in intensive training and the boat construction progressing well. Coor’s sponsorship takes the form of service deliveries to the ERT offices and boatbuilding site near Ericsson’s headquarters in Kista, outside Stockholm. Services include cleaning, waste management, coffee machines and office materials.
The sponsorship of ERT is Coor’s first Group-wide sponsorship project.
