Coor Service Management extends co-operation with Saab
Coor Service Management has signed a five-year agreement with Saab. The agreement means that Coor will deliver and develop property-related and workplace services to ten Saab sites in Sweden.
Saab provides the global market with world-leading products, services and solutions in defence and civil security. Coor has delivered services to several Saab sites since 2003, but following a comprehensive procurement process the order is now being expanded to ten sites across Sweden. The contract is worth some SEK 500 million with the possibility of even higher volumes. Some of the services included in the agreement are property maintenance, construction assignments, cleaning, mail processing, conference services and service centres.
”We are delighted with this renewed, extended confidence from Saab. Our aim now is to review our delivery and develop it to ensure it provides the optimum support for Saab,” says Staffan Ebenfelt, President of Coor Service Management in Sweden.
The agreement comes into force on 1 January 2009 and runs for five years. At sites where Coor is taking over from another supplier, service provision will begin on 1 April.
“Following a comprehensive procurement process, Saab is reducing the number of service providers it uses. Our property management strategy is to develop and streamline our FM delivery, and we will now be doing this with Coor,” says Lennart Strand, Property Manager at Saab.
