2024

Stine Solheim is appointed new CEO of Coor in Norway

2023

The Science Based Target initiative validated Coor's goal of reaching Net Zero of greenhouse gas emissions by 2040.

Coor aquired Skaraborgs Städ.

Coor signs agreement for sustainability-linked refinancing.

2022

Coor acquires Centrumstäd, a reputable cleaning services provider in southern Sweden.

Coor’s climate goals have been validated by the Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi).

Andreas Engdahl appointed CFO and IR Director of Coor.

2021

A year characterized by three value-adding acquisitions; R&K Services, a family company that provides cleaning and restaurant services in the Stavanger region, Veolia Technical Management, with high levels of technical expertise, and Inspira, a well-run family business that provides workplace services to customers in central Sweden.

Coor signs a new seven-year IFM contract with the Danish Building and Property Agency. The contract is worth some SEK 3 billion over the contract period.

2020

A significant part of the year is dominated by the COVID-19 pandemic in the Nordic region. Coor’s main priority is the health and safety of our employees and our customers’ employees. Focus during the year is to minimise the financial effects by reducing the company’s costs and safeguarding the company’s cash flow.

AnnaCarin Grandin takes up the position as President and CEO of Coor. She was previously the CEO of Coor’s Swedish business.

2019

Coor acquired the Swedish cleaning company Norrlands Miljövård. Norrlands Miljövård has annual sales of some SEK 250 M and 500 employees. The acquisition increases Coor’s geographical spread in Sweden and contributes to Coor’s cleaning competences.

2018

Coor acquired the Norwegian property services provider OBOS Eiendomsdrift AS. The company has around SEK 70 million in annual sales. 

Coor acquired the Danish cleaning services firm Elite Miljø A/S. Elite Miljø has around SEK 700 million in annual sales and about 2,000 employees.  

Coor acquired Norwegian facility management operator West Facility Management. West has around MSEK 140 in annual sales and more than 300 employees.

2017

Coor wins a new IFM assignment with ABB for services to be provided at a number of facilities in Sweden, Norway, Finland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. Coor, as the first company in Europe, is also testing the next generation cleaning robot.

2016

Coor shows strong performance improvements. A new whistleblowing function is introduced and a new group-wide ‘Operation Excellence’ initiative is initiated. The company changes its logo and removes Service Management from its name; from 2016, the company is called Coor in all communications.

2015

June, 16, 2015, Coor is listed on the Nasdaq Stock Exchange.

2014

Coor signs the largest-ever IFM deal in the Nordics. A contract to deliver and develop a large portfolio of FM services for multinational energy company Statoil (Equinor) in Norway.

2013

Coor launches a new product series, "Coor Smart Solutions".

2012

Service management company Addici, with Nordic-wide operations, acquired.

2011

Coor gains new customers and continues to grow, primarily in Finland where operations are doubled. A new industrial service organisation with five distinct service centres in Sweden is established.

2010

One of the new contracts is the pioneering deal to design, develop and deliver FM services for the new Karolinska University Hospital Solna, in Stockholm.

2009

Trots svår lågkonjunktur fortsätter Coor att växa, främst genom många nya kunder. En mindre verksamhet i Ungern startas. Coor lanserar en ny miljömärkning - Coor Green Services.

2008

Despite the severe recession, Coor continues to grow, mainly through many new customers. A small operation is started in Hungary. Coor launches a new environmental label - Coor Green Services.

2007

Through the acquisition of a Finnish service company, Coor is growing strongly in Finland. Private equity firm Cinven Ltd acquires Coor Service Management from 3i.

2006

Sales more than doubled during the year. In Norway, companies are acquired that give Coor better geographical coverage. In Sweden, Coor strengthens its position in the nuclear, process and manufacturing industries through acquisitions.

2005

Skanska Facilities Management changes name to Coor Service Management. Coor expands dramatically in both Norway and Sweden. The company increases its focus on production service by acquiring Volvo's service company.

2004

Operations launch in Norway. Coor receives its first large order for the public sector. Coor acquired by 3i, a European venture capital company.

2003

We get our first major service delivery contract with the manufacturing industry.

2002

Operations launch in Finland.

2001

Operations launch in Denmark.

2000

Ericsson's internal service company is acquired in one of the Nordic region's biggest ever outsourcing deals related to service operations.

1999

Intensive market cultivation takes off and Coor receives its first assignments.

1998

Coor Service Management formed. The company is called Skanska Services at the time and is part of the Skanska construction group.
