Facts:
"Radical innovation" is when an industry, way of working or technology experiences a drastic improvement that becomes a kind of paradigm shift for how the function has been performed in the past. Examples of radical innovation are situations where "the new" changes an entire system and creates new rules of the game, such as the introduction of electricity, cars, telephony, the internet, Apple and Facebook. Note the word "introduction", as innovation is not just a new invention or improvement, but an improvement put into a system.
