Growing interest in Green Services
For the second consecutive year, Coor has conducted an extensive environmental audit of the services delivered to its customers’ operations using the Coor Green Services environmental tool, which is unique in the sector. Despite more stringent standards compared to the previous year’s audit, results improved, indicating stronger environmental commitment by the company’s customers.
The award has two standards: Gold and Silver. Of the 140 sites evaluated, 10 attained Coor Green Services Gold (compared to 5 in the previous year) and 64 sites achieved Coor Green Services Silver (compared to 51 in the previous year).
"Many of our customers have high ambitions in the environmental segment, and there's very substantial interest in Coor Green Services. The award guarantees that the majority of all the services we deliver for our customers are environmentally friendly. We are delighted to conclude that this year, more customers satisfied the standards for this award—despite us raising the standard compared to the previous year," commented Staffan Ebenfelt, President of Coor Sweden.
Coor Green Services is the only comprehensive environmental accreditation system currently in the sector and has attracted major attention. The evaluation tool is dynamic and tailored to progress over time, which means it constitutes a genuine guarantee of high environmental ambition.

Coor Green Services is an evaluation tool that maps the environmental impact of services. Services are evaluated on the basis of relevant environmental criteria that are more far reaching than legislated requirements. There are two standards of environmental accreditation: Silver and Gold. The evaluation tool is dynamic, which means it is tailored to progress over time. Coor conducts an audit each year, then uses the results to discuss potential actions with customers. The tool is unique of its type, and makes Coor the world's first service provider that has taken an overall grasp of environmental issues and offers its customers a fully comprehensive environmental accreditation system.
