New CEO for Coor Service Management in Finland
Martin Forss is to be the new CEO of Coor in Finland. He has a solid grounding in Finnish industry and comes to Coor from a post as Vice President of Corporate Planning and Business Development at the service company Lassila & Tikanoja plc.
Coor Service Management is the Nordic region's leading player within service management, with around 185 employees in Finland, where service management is a rapidly growing industry.
"We have built up an increasingly strong position in Finland. We have grown dramatically during the year and as part of our expansion plans we are now strengthening the Finnish organisation with a new CEO. We are very pleased to have recruited Martin Forss, who has extensive, in-depth experience of Finnish industry and a definite flair for business," says Mats Jönsson, Group President and CEO of Coor Service Management.
Martin Forss will take up his post as CEO of Coor Finland in mid-November 2007 and will take his place on the Coor Executive Management Team at the same time. Mats Sundbom, who has been performing this role on a temporary basis, will remain in the Finnish operation.
"Being able to take part in Coor's Finnish expansion will be an exciting challenge for me. My task will be to strengthen Coor's presence and increase our market share in Finland. Service management is a market that is growing and developing rapidly, and Coor already has a good reputation in Finland," says Martin.
