Coor Service Management in Denmark named a ‘Gazelle’ company

"More and more Nordic companies are choosing to outsource operational support service functions. Our Danish operation has grown strongly since 2001, particularly in recent years. This year alone we have signed new contracts to deliver integrated services for Scandinavian Airlines and Chr. Hansen, jointly worth around DKK 100 million a year. We have also extended our collaboration with both Ericsson and Nokia in Denmark. We have a solid operation in Denmark, and I think we have all the conditions in place to continue our growth there," says Mats Jönsson, President & Group CEO of Coor Service Management.

The Gazelle classification is based on a survey carried out by Danish business daily Børsen of all VAT-registered companies in Denmark. This was the fourteenth time the daily had carried out the survey. A Gazelle company is a company that is growing fast and creating a lot of jobs. A company must fulfil the following criteria to be able to call itself a Gazelle company:

• The operation must have at least four years' accounts published.
• The operation's turnover must be greater than 1 million Danish kroner or, if the turnover is not included in the accounts, gross profit must be greater than half a million in each set of accounts over the past four years.
• Positive growth in turnover/gross profit in each set of accounts over the past four years.
• Growth in turnover/gross profit must be positive between the various sets of accounts.
• Turnover/gross profit must have more than doubled over the whole period.
• The total of the primary operating profit in the four latest sets of accounts must be positive.
