Coor Service Management makes strategic acquisition in production service

GR Sanering provides all types of production-related services such as cleaning, clearing and waste management, primarily for the steel and paper industries. The company has an annual turnover of SEK 150 million and 130 employees.

"GR Sanering is a very well-managed service company with an attractive client portfolio, which we would like to help develop. The acquisition further increases our strength in production-related service, one of our strategically important areas where we have an explicit ambition to grow," says Staffan Ebenfelt, President of Coor Service Management in Sweden.

"Our two companies were naturally drawn to each other. GR Sanering will now have a chance to develop further, while Coor will broaden its delivery and expand its expertise in clearing and industrial clean-up," says Roger Hydén, Managing Director of GR Sanering.

The acquisition is subject to approval from the Swedish Competition Authority, and the parties expect to be able to finalise the deal on 1 November.
