Coor Service Management signs agreement with Sandvik
Following a comprehensive procurement process, engineering group Sandvik is signing a five-year agreement with Coor Service Management. The agreement is worth an estimated total of SEK 350-400 million and will see Coor taking total responsibility for service delivery within one of Sweden's largest industrial areas, the Sandvik estate in Sandviken, northern Sweden.
Sandvik is a high-technology engineering group with advanced products and a world-leading position within selected areas. During autumn 2008, Sandvik has conducted a comprehensive procurement of workplace and property-related services for its major industrial estate in Sandviken, which is just over 2,600,000 square metres in area.

The new agreement with Coor comes into force on 1 February 2009. The agreement will see Coor taking on the main responsibility for the care and development of all buildings and the outdoor environment on the Sandvik estate, as well as internal services for the more than 5,000 people who work there. Some of the services included in the agreement are property maintenance, waste management, security, cleaning, canteen services, telephony, reception and internal post management.
