Coor Service Management extends nationwide agreement with ICA
Coor Service Management has reached a new agreement with northern European food provider ICA to deliver workplace and property services. This new agreement means Coor will be making substantial investments in developing and optimising the maintenance of ICA's refrigeration plant. Coor will also be guaranteeing ICA yearly cost savings.
Coor has been a supplier to ICA, one of northern Europe's leading retailers, since 2006. This new agreement has a one-year term with a further two-year extension option.

We'll continue to develop and streamline services in different ways so we can always deliver highly functional FM support to ICA's business," commented Tania Smelova, Business Unit President, Coor Service Management.
This agreement covers workplace and property services at ICA's distribution centres and offices, accommodating some 5,500 staff. The yearly value of the agreement is some SEK 110 m on subscription and some SEK 80 m in contract volumes. The agreement means Coor will focus especially on developing the heavy current, fire, control system and refrigeration segments to enhance and develop the reliability of distribution units in partnership with ICA. In turn, this will support ICA in achieving its longterm goals of increasing goods throughput at each distribution unit.
"Four years have passed since we signed our first agreement, and ICA has changed in that time. This new agreement modifies our setup and content to suit today's ICA better. We've got a good agreement where we'll be jointly focusing on quality-assuring delivery further," responded Stefan Gideskog, Head of Facility Management, ICA Sweden.
