Danmarks Radio chooses Coor Service Management as its new service provider
Danmarks Radio (DR) has awarded Coor Service Management (Coor) in Denmark a major five-year contract which comes into effect on 1 January 2011. Under the agreement, Coor will develop and deliver facility management services to its main offices DR-Byen in Copenhagen and DR in Aarhus, as well as nine district offices across Denmark.
The new assignment amounts to a nine-figure sum in Swedish kronor each year, and will be the largest contract to date for Coor's Danish operation. The services not only include reception, switchboard, security services, cleaning, building and property maintenance, property-related services and staff canteens, but also café and lobby services at DR's public events. The collaboration means that Coor will deliver service to over 3,500 DR personnel and half a million guests every year at DR in Denmark.

The new contract means that Coor in Denmark will increase its workforce by 200 new employees.

The agreement presupposes that the award decision gains legal force after a customary trial period.
