Coor wins new contract with McNeil to develop and streamline services

Coor Service Management (Coor) has signed a three-year contract with McNeil relating to the provision and development of a number of services for its operations in Helsingborg in southern Sweden.

McNeil is Helsingborg's biggest manufacturing company with approximately 730 staff. McNeil is part of the Johnson & Johnson group and manufactures over-the-counter pharmaceuticals, including anti-smoking product Nicorette.

Under the terms of the contract, Coor will provide and develop soft FM services for McNeils's Helsingborg facility. Services provided include plant maintenance, security, reception, telephony, cleaning and office services. The services will be provided by Coor and subcontractors. The contract runs from 1 October.

"We are pleased and proud to announce that that McNeil has appointed Coor as its service partner. Our task now is to improve and streamline McNeil AB's operations in close collaboration with the customer in order to optimise support for its core operations," commented Bengt Håkansson, Vice President of Coor in Sweden.

Coor already has a presence in Helsingborg, providing services including hard and soft FM at ICA's plant and industrial service to several companies (including Kemira) at Industry Park of Sweden.
