Coor secures the largest integrated services contract in Denmark from the Danish police service
After a public tendering process, the Danish police service has selected Coor Service Management as its provider of a fully integrated facilities management services solution. This is the first time that a nationwide solution for the Danish police and prosecutor service has been selected. The agreement means Coor gaining 250 new employees and some 14,000 service users.
This contract, with a three-digit million yearly value in kronor terms, includes FM services such as cleaning, restaurant operations, mail, servicing of 2,200 vehicles, management of lost property, buildings and land maintenance at 250 sites. The agreement, which has a five-year term, commences in September. Over 250 employees, primarily from the police service, will be offered employment with Coor.
"I view the fact that the police service selected us for these duties as corroboration and recognition of our competence on large, complex solutions. We can add value through synergies and optimize operations through intelligent service solutions," commented Jørgen Utzon, President of Coor Denmark.
This agreement with the police is another major advance for Coor in Denmark, which commenced a similar agreement with DR (Danmarks Radio) last year. The new agreement makes Coor the largest Danish provider of IFM services, thus securing its positioning as a specialist in complex service operations—unlike more traditional FM contracts, which focus on relatively few services.

The agreement will come into effect after the customary probationary period.
