Mikael Stöhr becomes Coor Service Management’s new CEO

Mats Jönsson has been President and CEO of the Coor group since the company was founded in 1998. Since then, Coor has grown rapidly, becoming one of the leading service management providers in the Nordics, with sales of over SEK 7 billion (EUR 790 m), 5,600 employees and a very strong customer base. After 14 years' service, Mats has decided to step down as President and CEO. He will be succeeded by Mikael Stöhr, who joins Coor from Green Cargo, the freight train operator, where he is currently President and CEO. Mats Jönsson will remain as a Board member when he steps down as CEO in 2013.

Mikael Stöhr will take up his new position by April 2013. Mats will remain in his current position until that time, and then remain as a member of the Board, working actively for the company.

"I am very proud of what has been achieved at Coor, since the business was founded, and I believe this is testament to a highly experienced and dedicated team. I look forward to remaining involved with the business but, after 14 years, I think it is now time to hand over the leadership to someone with excellent credentials who can continue the growth of the company," responded Mats Jönsson.
