Coor Service Management and Borealis extend collaboration

Borealis has chosen to extend its agreement with Coor Service Management for delivery of integrated support services. The contract is worth some SEK 115 m annually and is being extended for another two years from April 1, 2016.

Borealis has chosen to extend its agreement with Coor Service Management for delivery of integrated support services. The contract is worth some SEK 115 m annually and is being extended for another two years from April 1, 2016.

Borealis manufactures products including plastic raw materials for sanitation distribution pipes, energy and communications cables and complex packaging solutions. The agreement means that Coor will continue to develop and deliver integrated workplace and property service to Borealis 1,300 staff across 140 sites at the plant in Stenungsund, Sweden.

“We’re extremely proud of the continued confidence Borealis has shown us by extending the agreement, which confirms that we satisfy Borealis’ high expectations. Our task now is to continue to develop our services alongside Borealis to deliver optimum operations support. Our joint aim is to set a new standard for the facility management services we provide,” commented Mikael Stöhr, President and CEO of Coor Service Management.

The service delivery includes property maintenance, refurbishment and extension, snow clearance, recycling, reception, switchboard, mail management, restaurants, cleaning and security and surveillance. Coor will also be introducing its new smart services Coor SmartDisplay, SmartResponse and SmartFlow.

We’re currently at an exciting stage where several of Coor’s innovative, smart solution are about to be implemented, with the aim of adapting our workplace environment to the latest progress.
