Start-up company Mimbly’s business idea is to make the lifecycle of clothes and textiles less resource-intensive and more sustainable. Mimbly’s solution involves using water in a smarter way and stopping all plastics from ending up in nature. Coor was the first company to test the technology, which is very simple to install in new and existing washing machines.

20,000 plastic bags replaced by cloth bags

At the psychiatric ward at the hospital in Vejle, Coor is constantly trying to think of new sustainable ways of working. One of these initiatives is that the cleaners now reuse cloth bags for dirty rags and mops, instead of the plastic bags that were previously used. In just one year, Coor’s cleaners have prevented 20,000 plastic bags from ending up in nature.
