The Vision Zero Forum
Vision Zero Forum coordinated by the Finnish Institute of Occupational Health issues annual safety level certifications to workplaces that have continuously improved their occupational safety. Coor applied certification for the first time and placed directly on level II (Towards world’s class). Achievement is a tangible demonstration of our structured long-term occupational safety work and an important milestone towards a zero-accident goal.
Science Based Targets
Coor has decided to commit to Science Based Targets initiative to set climate targets in line with limiting global temperature rise to 1.5°C.
Coor participates in SHE Index
SHE Index powered by EY annually releases an index and a report in which the participating companies get a score between 0 and 100, based on 36 questions in six different categories. The score summarizes the level that the company has reached in its inclusion work. Coor is in the top ten list of Swedish companies that participated in 2021.
Around 1.1 million lunches are eaten every day in cafeterias at workplaces, universities and schools across Norway. This represents a large part of the actual food consumption, but also that consumers make individual food choices – both in the canteen and in their private households. At Food (R)evolution, we will – together with our partners – develop a new collaborative model for the food industry. The purpose is to radically improve and increase both private and professional consumption of sustainable food.
The research project has been established and was allocated MNOK 12 from the Research Council of Norway to carry out the project in the period 2021-2024.
Coor wins innovation award
For the third year in a row, IFMA awards prize for best FM innovation. The 2020 prize happily goes to Coor – this time for the service we offer in collaboration with LightAir. LightAir is a Swedish clean tech company with a focus on clean and virus-free air in offices and schools.
Both within social and environmental sustainability we believe there is a need to focus on the real issues, create real change, and avoid greenwashing. As the first FM supplier, Coor has chosen to sign the anti-greenwashing initiative – “Grønnvaskingsplakaten”. It is a guideline for businesses that want to avoid greenwashing and make a positive contribution to the green shift happening faster. It contains ten commandments the signing business promises to live by.
