2023
During the year, Coor acquired Skaraborgs Städ and its subsidiaries, and consolidated its security offering within Addici Security & Technology. Coor also signed an IFM agreement with Swedbank, the largest first‑time outsourcing in Sweden in several years.
Coor’s plan to reach net‑zero emissions by 2040 was approved by the SBTi, and the transformation of the business continues. Coor also signs an agreement for sustainability-linked refinancing.
For the fourth consecutive year, Coor was named one of Sweden’s Career Companies. Coor also retained its position as one of the most gender‑equal companies in the country in the SHE Index powered by EY.
2022
Coor acquired Centrumstäd, strengthening its cleaning operations in southern Sweden. Sustainability is one of Coor’s focus areas, and in May the company’s short-term climate targets were approved by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). Coor was also named the most gender‑equal company in Sweden in the SHE Index powered by EY.
During the year, Andreas Engdahl assumed the role of CFO and IR Director of Coor.
2021
Covid‑19 continued to affect society in 2021, but the year also brought new and extended contracts for Coor. Among other things, a major seven-year IFM agreement was signed with the Danish Building and Property Agency. The contract is worth some SEK 3 billion over the contract period.
2021 was also characterized by three value-adding acquisitions; R&K Services, a family company that provides cleaning and restaurant services in the Stavanger region in Norway, Veolia Technical Management, with high levels of technical expertise, and Inspira, a well-run family business that provides workplace services to customers in central Sweden.
During the year, Coor's focus on sustainability and innovation increased, and Coor was awarded a gold rating for its sustainability performance in EcoVadis’ annual assessment.
2020
During the year, Coor worked actively to adapt its operations to the effects of Covid‑19. Despite an uncertain market, Coor continued to build strong customer relationships. Agreements were renegotiated and newly signed with Equinor, Borealis and Vasakronan. Other highlights included Coor winning IFMA’s Innovation Award and being recognised as one of the most gender‑equal companies in Sweden in EY’s She Index.
AnnaCarin Grandin takes up the position as President and CEO of Coor. She was previously the CEO of Coor’s Swedish business.
2019
Coor acquires the Swedish cleaning company Norrlands Miljövård AB, which complements and strengthens Coor’s existing operations both in terms of expertise and geographic coverage. Norrlands Miljövård, a market leader in cleaning services in northern Sweden, has an annual turnover of approximately SEK 250 million and around 500 employees. Through high quality and a strong local presence, Norrlands Miljövård has built solid customer loyalty, and in 2018 the company was named Cleaning Company of the Year in Sweden. Its profile, characterised by high service quality and sustainable service solutions, is fully aligned with Coor’s market position.
2018
During 2018, Coor acquires three companies in Scandinavia – one of them being the Norwegian property services company OBOS Eiendomsdrift AS, with 45 employees and an annual turnover of approximately SEK 70 million.
The acquisition of the Danish cleaning company Elite Miljø A/S gives Coor increased geographical coverage, opens up significant synergy opportunities, and strengthens Coor’s expertise within key cleaning segments. Elite Miljø has an annual turnover of approximately SEK 700 million and more than 2,000 employees.
The third company acquired by Coor in 2018 is the Norwegian service company West Facility Management AS, which has 300 employees and an annual turnover of around SEK 140 million.
Coor also signs a new five‑year IFM agreement with Storebrand. The assignment will be launched during 2018, with an annual subscription volume of SEK 80 million, in addition to variable project volumes and substantial development opportunities.
2017
Coor wins a new IFM contract with ABB, delivering services to several facilities in Sweden, Norway, Finland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. Coor is also awarded the assignment to provide patient meals at Karolinska University Hospital in Solna. In connection with this, a new brand for meals in the public sector is launched: Signatur by Coor. During 2017, Coor becomes the first company in Europe to test the next‑generation cleaning robot in its operations. In addition, Coor launches SmartClimate, a solution for monitoring and improving indoor climate.
2016
Coor shows strong performance improvements. A new whistleblowing function is introduced and a new group-wide ‘Operation Excellence’ initiative is initiated. The company changes its logo and removes Service Management from its name; from 2016, the company is called Coor in all communications.
2015
June, 16, 2015, Coor is listed on the Nasdaq Stock Exchange.
2014
Coor signs the largest-ever IFM deal in the Nordics. A contract to deliver and develop a large portfolio of FM services for multinational energy company Statoil (Equinor) in Norway.
2013
At the beginning of the year, Mikael Stöhr assumed the role of Group CEO. The Group’s organisational structure was adjusted so that the four Nordic countries were complemented by a dedicated industrial services unit. The company’s strategy was revised to broaden the customer base by also targeting smaller operations and selected strategic service areas. Coor's ‘Smart Solutions’ product series was launched.
2012
Turnover and the number of employees are rising, not least in Denmark following a major nationwide cooperation agreement with the Police. Cash flow was significantly strengthened after a group‑wide project. Toward the end of the year, the security company Addici, operating across the Nordics, was acquired.
2011
Coor gains new customers and continues to grow, primarily in Finland where operations are doubled. A new industrial service organisation with five service centres in Sweden is established.
2010
One of the new contracts is the pioneering deal to design, develop and deliver FM services to the new Karolinska University Hospital in Solna, Stockholm.
2009
Despite a severe recession, Coor continues to grow, mainly by attracting many new customers. A smaller operation in Hungary is started. Coor launches a new environmental label - Coor Green Services.
2008
Growth continues – new industries, new customers, new services. Coor celebrates 10 years.
2007
Coor is growing strongly in Finland through the acquisition of a Finnish service company. Private equity firm Cinven Ltd acquires Coor Service Management from 3i.
2006
Sales more than doubled during the year. Coor aqcuires companies in Norway to get better geographical coverage. In Sweden, Coor strengthens its position in the nuclear, process and manufacturing industries through acquisitions.
2005
Skanska Facilities Management changes name to Coor Service Management. Coor expands dramatically in both Norway and Sweden. The company increases its focus on production service by acquiring Volvo's service company.
2004
Operations launch in Norway. Coor receives its first large order for the public sector. Coor acquired by 3i, an European venture capital company.

Coor gets its first major service delivery contract with the manufacturing industry.
