Coor awarded yet another gold!

Coor has once again been awarded gold in EcoVadis' annual international rating. This year, we've increased our overall score from 67 to 73 and are now in the top 97 percentile of companies in our industry, compared to the top 93 percentile in 2021. 
 
The gold rating from EcoVadis places Coor among the top 5% of global companies in terms of CSR work. The rating was awarded following an extensive review of Coor’s work.  
“Since EcoVadis is so comprehensive, this is yet another proof that we are focusing on the right things and have a sustainability strategy that lasts over time,” Maria Ekman, Head of Group Sustainability, says. 
 
EcoVadis’ assessment is based on 21 criteria in the areas of environment, labor & human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. The method is based on international CSR standards, including Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards, the UN Global Compact and the ISO 26000 standard. 
 
High rise in labor & human rights and sustainable procurement 
The areas where Coor’s score increased the most in this year's evaluation are labor & human rights and sustainable procurement. This is partly due to the fact that we have updated several policies and that these areas are highly weighted by EcoVadis. That our climate goals have been validated by the Science Based Target initiative is also a contributing factor.
