Coor Service Management wins major assignment in nuclear power industry
Coor Service Management has signed an agreement with Ringhals AB Vattenfall for service in connection with the Ringhals nuclear power plant in southern Sweden. The agreement entails Coor managing, coordinating and delivering services worth just over SEK 150 million a year.
In stiff competition, Coor Service Management has won the order to provide service for Vattenfall's Ringhals nuclear power plant in Halland province, southern Sweden. Coor will be responsible for around 50 different production-related services (including sanitation and decontamination, technical insulation, fire protection and handling of sensitive waste), property-related service (such as waste management, building service and management of outdoor environments) and workplace service (including cleaning, conference-related services and project administration).

The agreement begins with preliminary alignment in 2007 and runs until 31 December 2013. The assignment will be carried out by Coors' existing staff at Ringhals in combination with subcontractors.
