Volvo Aero selects Coor Service Management
Coor Service Management has signed a new three-year agreement with Volvo Aero. This agreement, worth some SEK 240 m, means Coor continuing to deliver and develop a raft of business support FM services to Volvo Aero in Trollhättan, Sweden.
Volvo Aero is a wholly owned subsidiary of AB Volvo. Volvo Aero develops and manufactures components for aircraft and rocket engines in partnership with the world's leading aerospace producers. Coor currently delivers several services to Volvo Aero within soft FM, hard FM and industrial services.
In tandem with the impending expiry of a time-finite agreement across six services segments, Volvo Aero has opted to sign a new three-year agreement with Coor. The services segments covered are process services, transport services, truck servicing, document services, inventory services and fire. Simultaneously, the collaboration with Volvo Aero is being upscaled with Coor assuming greater responsibility in the inventory operation.

We view the fact that we're also getting greater responsibility on the inventory side as corroboration that our delivery maintains high quality. In tandem with Volvo Aero, our task now is to keep developing and streamlining the services on this delivery," commented Account Manager Björn Oeftiger.
This new agreement becomes effective in 2012.
